The project was designed to encourage collaboration between teachers and artists, as well as between students in Year 7. The project evolved into a celebration of the diversity within the school, in terms of culture, faith and the students' interests.
Commissioned by Creative Partnerships to collaborate with teachers and children to explore the school's cultural diversity through themes of sand, sea and sky.
A collaborative project bringing together children from two primary schools in Reading's diverse Newtown community to find points of connection.
A series of workshops with children led to the design and execution - with the children - of murals and painted enclosures which reflected the games they like to play: dragons, knights and fairies; home making and football.
