the wall
By building walls from cardboard boxes and blasting them down, the students thought about the barriers that can be built between each other and how they could be broken down.
They made paper aeroplanes and sent messages to each other over the wall so that they could get to know each other a little more. And then they blasted the wall down.
They used the boxes as sculptures to create and contain symbols of their own identity. And then they re-built the wall. This time the light shone through and they could see elements of each other more clearly.
